Superhero Intersex, directed by Tuğba Baykal and based on the experiences of 3 intersex activists from Turkey, was screened in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Organized by Stichting Sirkaf, the screening was attended by Belgin Günay, an intersex activist who takes part in the documentary. After the screening, the audience’s questions were answered in the conversation. LGBTI+ migrants from Turkey living in the Netherlands, migrants from other countries and Dutch people showed interest in the screening.

Superhero Intersex, based on the life stories of three Turkish intersex activists Aslı Yasemin Bahar, Belgin Günay and Şerife Yurtseven, aims to increase intersex visibility and draw attention to the rights violations experienced by intersex people.
